Informationen

Come.Listen.Dance is a new Global Pop concert series in Berlin. It is a
platform for bands and musicians of all genres and backgrounds
interested in fusing rhythms, sounds, and vocal styles from around the
world.

Come.listen.dance was born of the meeting of Michal Limboski (POL)
and Nick Morrison (FRA/USA). They discovered that beyond the
ubiquitous influences of blues and Euro-american folk, they share a love
of African and Indian music and a curiosity about how elements of
diverse local musical styles can be integrated into contemporary
western popular music.

The launch concert for the series will feature four distinctive artists–
Malika Alaoui, Dja Barro, Roland Satterwhite & Limboski–in a
collaborative performance, supported by an all-star Berlin rhythm
section directed by Morrison.

More information on the artists:

Malika Alaoui is a swiss-moroccan vocalist, performer and composer.
She toured for 4 years around the world as the lead role singer of
Alegria by Cirque du Soleil. Malika collaborated with musicians such as

Okpokwasili for the 10th Biennale for Contemporary Art in Berlin. She is
currently the singer/voice creator for the Awakening by Gratte Ciel, and
the vocalist for the jazz band Stand-Arts and for the Minimal Utopia
Orkestra. Recently, Malika founded the project Maemo to sing her
“afropean nomad chansons”.
